I have entered the Green Truck in the Napa Car Show in Arlington, taking place 8/23/08.
We can enter the Pontiac for only $10 if it's ready. There's plenty of room.

Once the gas tank is sealed up that shouldn't be a problem. There really isn't much left to do on it accept a couple of odds and ends and a good wash and cleanup.

Hola- checking in, the car can be ready by then, rough but ready. Joe and I will have the tank reinstalled by Thursday. 1) seats are in 2) nose is on, After this all we need to do is plug in bulbs, trim rings, figure out the MC and it is drivable.

We had fun at the NAPA show and ended up going to another car show down the road for the second half of the day. Sittin Pretti show was at Arlington Airport. This was a large show originally started for mini trucks, but expanded with sponsorship by Toyo Tires, Car Toys, Les Schwab, and lots more.
We made had lots of foot traffic and spoke to lots of people about our cause. With late entry of both the Pontiac and the Green Truck we won; 3rd place for Hot Rods and 2nd place for full size pick-up.

We had the added surprise and benefit of teaming up with Mike Lavallee at Sittin Pretti bringing together our two vehicles with the Lightning, Wicked One, which was their greatest achievement together at Killer Paint winning the SEMA Show in Vegas as well as their national award for custom paint job. It was a bitter sweet day and we think we made Rob proud.
We'll try to get photos posted soon.
